First, any major crash, enemy collision, course-out, or even pausing will disqualify your ghost from being recorded.

Bonus Feature Failure: Time Trial ghosts. Bleak Level: Bowser's Castle and Banshee Boardwalk are quite Darker and Edgier compared to the others. These were all changed to be more generic outside of Japan, likely due to legal reasons.
